Watson Portela - Master in Design Arte è nato a Camaragibe, Pernambuco, il 18 ottobre 1950. Come tutti i bambini, ha iniziato a disegnare all'età di otto anni, non fermarsi più. Era l'unico designer brasiliano per disegnare la copertina di Tex. autore progettista ha creato l'unico eroe brasiliano Super-Gay, una satira divertente con gli eroi della Marvel e DC ha pubblicato un numero speciale nel 1982, con 68 pagine di Grafipar editore.
